★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not to bad needs updating as rooms quite tired looking. Person at front desk was pleasant however although had stayed there before a bond needed and took a while before admission granted. Then next morning when leaving no one at front desk, then when eventually came, asked me to sit down while they do something? It appeared she may have been having breakfast. Overall not a very welcoming motel.

I have been around the world and stayed at many different accommodations, never have I been treated the way this person treated me.
Rudely asked if I had been Vaccinated and wanted to see an exemption as to why I wasn’t, saying there is new rules and we have to be Vaccinated to stay at their establishment. We knew nothing of this before we booked and travelled from out of town. She said we could stay (after being rude first) but we had to sign a form to say we weren’t vaccinated. However we decided not to stay because of her rudeness and would recommend they hire someone new for reception if they want more clientele. I for one will never return, even after I am vaccinated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice proximity to the city, supermarkets and shops. The only downside is the noise that comes from the road. As it's on a busy road, and by the traffic lights, you hear big trucks and boy-racers etc. all through the night and especially in the morning. Even with ear-plugs in, I could clearly hear noise that seemed to easily seep through the door. You can also hear the muffle of people talking in the next room.
Rooms themselves are pretty clean with all you need for a nights stay. The spa bath next to the bed is a bit strange, but not a deal-breaker.
As for people saying the receptionist was rude; I found her to be nice, welcoming and pleasant. Just because she needs to protect herself and others from Covid, as well as following the law, doesn't warrant bad reviews because she's just doing her job. As this govt. have been saying for ages... want 'freedoms'? - get vaxxed! It's as simple as that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful unit , huge double spa bath , nice extras like toothbrushes . We loved it here and so close to supermarkets and CBD.
Only warning is the shower is a bit snuggly , a very large obese person would struggle to clean themselves ?

Mandates will officially be lifted from 4 April yet this business still requests a pass when booking.
This is totally at their own discretion.
Comfortable rooms with twin spa. Plenty of off street parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place on the face of it but looking tired in the rooms. The spa looks cool but the jets and bubbles are so noisy you can't enjoy. The rooms need to have sound proofing as the traffic noise is appalling from 4am with trucks going bye, no sleep!!
Not sure the value in continuing with vaccine passes after they were no longer required by govt? Reasoning was odd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful room, very clean to a high standard. The staff were amazing, handled our booking with care, even offered for us to checkout later than expected so we wouldn't miss the All Black game. I would highly recommend to all. We will definitely be back with our family.
