Absolutely disgusting. I have asked 6 times to please cancel my booking. Both through the consolidator I booked through, who after trying 3 times, suggested I contact them direct - which I did, and they can’t even reply to emails. The hotel then finally replied, and suggested I’m some kind of stupid and don’t understand how bookings during covid work - actually I do, very much so, I’ve spent 22 months rebooking and cancelling thousands of trips, and all I was trying to do was cancel 1 night… I actually didn’t even care about a refund, I certainly didn’t demand a refund, i said it would be nice if they did, but understand t&c …. but because as implied I’m some kind of dumb, they just went on a very rude tangent and lost all credibility for me & my reach of thousands of travel agencies, to ever book there again. Stay if you want zero service. Don’t every try to cancel, just to be courteous, so they might be able to rebook the room for someone else. They don’t understand.

Well if you read a few of my reviews you will see I'm rather positive and fair.. sadly I can't say the same for the Auckland airport lodge. The attitude and tone of the lady from the front desk was shocking to say the least. As for the lodge it's self it's OK at best, there are definitely cleaner and maintained places around. Not to mention at a fairer price too.

We needed a place to leave our car for 10 days while we were holidaying in the Cook Islands recently This place suited our purposes beautifully free of charge when you book a night to stay at very reasonable rates We stayed a night as we had to be at the airport early the next morning & the Lodge provided a transport service for us & our luggage When we returned our car was delivered outside our unit as we had booked another night on our return as we don't live in Auckland There is also a great Mobil station in Kirkbride Rd just up the road from the Lodge that offers fried chicken hamburgers chips for a late nite dinner esp if you arrive home after everything else has closed

This hotel was a nice surprise. Our room was very clean with plenty of room. It had 2 single beds and a king bed as well as a kitchenette.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to try resolve an issue with my card, as advised by Booking.com email to contact the hotel directly. The lady on the phone was rude, abrupt, talked over top of me, wouldn't answer my questions, raised her voice. The conversation escalated and I hung up after calling her customer service appalling. She refused to let me speak to anyone else. I called back to speak to a manager and was told they weren't a available and was hung up on. I called again to ask WHEN they would be available as I wanted to make a complaint. The lady was yelling raising her voice and ranting at me. I ended up emailing the manager who was equally unprofessional. Accused me of abusing his staff which is completely untrue. I was frustrated but not abusive. He refused to acknowledge my complaint about the staff members conduct, kept turing it back to me and the issue with my card (which I have no idea about as I provided the correct details and had funds available etc.) This company DOES NOT take responsibility for their service or behaviour. It is the cusotmera fault and they can do no wrong. Very sad attitude especially when they are likely struggling in the current climate of covid and increased costs etc. You'd think they would be customer focussed but sadly they are not. As is evident by the MANY reviews saying the same.

Reasonable accommodation which has a handy location close to the airport, made even easier by the free shuttle offered to the airport. Very basic rooms with very few channels on the TV, a quick sleep before catching an early flight is the ideal market for this accommodation.

Absolutely great services. Have stayed here twice in the space of 3 years. The shuttle comes very handy our car was left safe while we went on both holidays. Will recommend and definitely stay again :)

Being in the hospitality business, you should know that it's very common to have last minute changes to plans when traveling. I had booked this place for 4 people because that's how many we had initially planned to stay there. We were passing through Auckland for a night and my sister and her partner had come over to visit us with NO intention of staying the night. One thing led to another, we were having any amazing time which stretched out longer than we expected. It was not planned at all! I would totally understand your behavior if I had been a difficult and rude customer towards you but I was genuinely being very nice and polite. You were straight up RUDE and negative from the get go. I didn't hesitate to pay for the extra guests (how was supposed to pay for them at the start if I had no idea they were going to stay??) I was very offended with the way you were talking to me. I was even calling you "Sir" and asked if you'd had a bad morning to justify your behavior. Customer service is all about trying to work through situations is the smoothest and most positive way possible. You could have been very kind first thing in the morning but you consciously chose not to be without even meeting me or talking to me. I have paid for the service and have also been extremely polite to you and the staff members (you can ask the house keeping). The fact that you look after your employees in the difficult times of COVID is very nice to know, I suggest you try to do that for customers as well, communicate kindly and deliver likable customer service. You didn't even try to be polite, and as a man who has much more life experience than me, it's disappointing.
