Went to the garage as suspension made a weird sound. After couple of hours the dude called me back and said that the upper left suspension arm need to be replaced. Sweet. He quoted me 800$ for the replacement, fitted.
As Iβm not from the area I called my local mechanic in Taupo to double check what he reckons. He told me that the replacement wont be more than 400$!!!!
Cheeky cheeky, to make sure I called couple of other mechanics in the area and all of em quoted me not more than 400 bucks.
I gave auto (super) shoppe a call back to ask em why the heck they want to charge me double price. He stuttered something like blablabla but man it was pretty obvious to me that they simply wanted to rip me off. Pretty steep and cheeky, especially during times of covid.
Got my van fixed at cross auto, Craig is a legend!
Definitely wonβt recommend auto (super) shoppe
