Very nice cafe with a great variety of food to choose from and definitely the best in pauanui. I would highly recommend going here for a quick snacc and prices aren't outrageously high.

Unfriendly service. Not much to eat for lunch. Latte coffee very strong and undrinkable. Ceasar Salad was bland. Not going back.

Typical holiday destination cafe. Coffee good. Food so so and the service a little slow. That being said wouldn't have it any other way

Enjoyable setting and friendly service. The iced coffee was 50% ice so not so good, but everything else was great.

Cafe in Pauanui,. Cafe decor is themed around a tropical island motif. It had seating inside and out, orders are placed and paid for with the cashier and bought out to your table. Food and coffee was good, I had their big breakfast (which was a big serving), food comes stacked on your plate like a big open sandwich. Not too many Cafe options in this area but this one is worth popping in to for a meal or coffee.

Don’t bother going here! Extremely rude woman who served us, cocktails should be removed from the drinks menu as it’s literally alcohol with juice and a sliced piece of orange. Not to mention they forgot our order after waiting 45mins. Woman giggle that they forgot the order then brought meal out and it was incorrect. It’s not worth the stress.

Good enviornment, served good food too. No free WiFi. Would recommend their french toast with maple syrup.

We got fish and chips to go from Cabana Cafe Bar in Pauanui. The oil was simply pooling in the bottom of the paper bags. They win the award for the greasiest fish. The $6 of shoestring chips weren't much better. Terribly thin, you almost couldn't taste the potato. The sizes of the fish were good and it seemed fresh but ruined in the cooking. We had to peel off the batter. I took the oily paper bags back to the establishment with the opportunity of doing the right thing - a refund or part refund I thought would be in order. I got "Sorry guys I'll let the cook know". That was a wasted $27 so writing to warn others. DO NOT get their fish and chips. Heart attack waiting to happen.
