★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spending a few weeks just down the road .Iv been alittle greedy because the gluten free carrot cake muffins are amazing ,iv had 3 in less then a week .the coffee is perfect and the staff friendly and inviting .ill have to try the other gf offers soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As you walk into Cafe Strata you are greeted by the beautiful aroma of home baking, hot coffee and a warm smile from the friendly man behind the counter. We had the home made pies - steak and mushroom - the steak and cheese were already sold out so must be a favourite. Absolutely delicious, great coffee and excellent service. Would come here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strata is no rush cafe at Waihi beach, took over 30 minutes to cook us breakfast at non busy time. Coffee and tea was quick though. Big portions, eggs on toast with salmon is ok, a bit dry, some tomato chutney would do magic for this dish. My french toast was delicious.
