★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small, easily accessible shopping centre cor of Linwood Ave and Buckleys Road. It now houses the Linwood library, medical Centre and a few other offices where the Farmers Department Store used to be. It has a Food Court which is quite popular with locals and visitors alike. Choice of dishes include Indian, Chinese, roast meals, fish and chips, soups, sushii coffee and hot drinks. The Mall houses the Warehouse, Countdown , Number one shoes, Pagani, Postie Plus, Max out, Pharmacy and a few others. It has toilets, Carpark, escalators and lifts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tired run down excuse for a mall . Considering the population base it should be better, but, because majority of suburbs surrounding Eastgate are lower socio economic groups, ie unskilled labour and unemployed, Eastgate hasn't been added to or improved in the 40 years it's been there. Perhaps its the Warehouse store on site? You can basically get everything you need there. In 50 years Warehouse stores will rule the world!! Nya ah ah ah...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here around two times and honestly one of the most peculiar malls I've ever gone to. Definitely in comparison to the other malls in Chrisrchurch, this one is amongst the worst in my opinion. Strange vibe, strange layout, lacking stores, and seen some very questionable people (including some of the staff) that hang around at this mall. Might as well go to somewhere else like Riccarton or Northlands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place if you would like to go out for lunch in a food court with out all the foot traffic. My father is retired and enjoys visiting me as I have moved from my small home town, I take him to Eastgate as it is more chilled out and way smaller then the other with just a hand full of shops bit still feels like your at the mall lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's handy having the shops of the Mall so close. One thing lacking in Eastgate is a decent hardware store. There's quite a lot at The Warehouse but nothing like a Mitre 10 or Bunnings. I'd even settle for a Hammer Hardware if I had to.
