★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris, Chanel and their team painted the entire exterior and external Joinery of our 20 year old home and also repainted part of the interior, including wallpapering. Whilst their prices were reasonable, CEO Chris was very difficult to get on with, which he himself admitted to me that he often comes across that way. He failed to keep us updated of start dates/finish dates, changes to painting/papering schedules, in fact any changes to our job. He'd say one thing, then Chanel would say another. For example, the start date kept changing; one guy would show up on his own and tell me he was confused about why he was alone and didn't know where the rest of the crew were. One staff member said the company was poorly organized. Chris was quite confrontational when I would contact him with concerns and made me feel like I had no reason to query anything. It took literally months and months before they finally finished the wallpapering, so we held some funds back. Lo and behold, Chris threatened legal action to my husband who didn't take it kindly. I asked my hubby tonight if he'd use Ezipaint again. 'Heck no' he said! Sure, Ezipaint can paint. But their customer service stinks. I would not recommend for that reason. As to not giving them access - I told Chris I wouldn't and couldn't be home on the day he requested. They were arrogant enough to call around anyway. We have dealt with tradies for years. I have never had an issue with any of them, including painters until Chris Peters knocked on our door.
