About Getapartybus
Get A Party Bus is based in Auckland, NZ and began in February of 2010 with the purchase of a Leyland Tiger.
Getapartybus is the brain child of entrepeneur Sharon Killen, the business is run with her and her daughters Daisee and Morgana from a central Auckland location.
Sharon’s vision for the company was to have a party bus business that had integrity and wasn’t just a booze bus!
Sharon then set out to battle the Auckland City Council and the Police who quite surpringly were behind getting party buses licensed.
Also with that Sharon wanted to offer entertainment and fun things to do not just pub crawls, they have incorporated good dining, great bands, excellent Karaoke bars for the pub crawls, and she has also developed “packages” for hens and stags nights which are easy to organise and full of all the usual mischief a hens or stags should be full of.
Sharon’s vision also included operating the business with the upmost safety and has designed the buses to be safe for the customer and driven nice a slow by the drivers!
After 3 and a half months of Panel and Paint, Sign Writing, New Floor and Wall Linings, New Retro Seat Vinyl, 4 Seats Pulled Out Creating Room for a Dance Floor, Added 2 New Dance Poles, Neon Lights, Flashing Lights on board toilet, Karaoke and a Tiger Print Bar and Hit the Road on 19th May 2010.
Our staff are loads of fun and are fully trained in Bar Service and are Licenced Bar Managers. We strictly adhere to liquor licencing laws and NZTA guidelines. Our goal is to wow your socks off and make your night one to remember.
