★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best kids experiences in the area. We live in Frankton, Queenstown and have driven out twice this year. As a Mum of a 2 year old, I feel that there is a severe lack of family experiences for kids this age in QT. The one or two that are there charge tourist prices and are not as good as this farm experience. My little guy loves it there and so do I. This farm is very reasonable and very enjoyable with great views for the pictures too. Well done guys, you are doing something right ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glenorchy Animal Experience was fantastic! We had a lovely time petting, feeding, and cuddling the animals. Amazing views as well. The animals were all very friendly and well behaved, most were happy to be approached and they all ate the food gently. The owners are very welcoming, they explained how to feed the animals and were happy to have a chat. They're very passionate and caring about what they do, you can tell they treat each of the animals as loved pets. Highly recommend visiting while in the region!!

My youngest is crazy about llamas and alpacas!
The drive to the farm is spectacular the views from the road were beautiful.Couple who owned the farm were very inviting and willing to supplies us all the information we needed, it is a 5th generation farm!
My children were very excited to see their llamas in the pens. Then realising the alpaca's were roaming free with the cow and sheep!
Great little farm with a stunning view great photos!
Over all we all had a great time.
Alpaca's sheep donkey horse cow llamas goats chickens and the world's most ugly pig!

We were absolutely delighted and have still been reflecting on the time well spent at your farm. We were really pleased to hear that our visit meant you and your husband started your day off in a positive way. We would encourage everyone visiting the area to please check this place out. You'll end up spending hours with the animals and perhaps a few wholesome chats with the guy farmer (he loves having a chin wag). Cheers and ps. your pigs were my favourite!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the highlight of our trip so far. The animals were so friendly and the kids loved it. The owners are lovely and welcoming - even took the kids for an up close encounter with the Possums! Love the self sufficiency - compostable toilet and solar power.
Visit this place! You will not regret it.
