★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an x-ray not a long wait - quick, pleasant and efficient. Just an annoying fire alarm that went on too long that was at other side of hospital!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor experience. Medical staff clearly under resourced. What doctor said wasn't followed up by nurses; when reminded, only heard excuses. Left feeling a fatal mistake is imminent. One positive was great to see hand sanitisers everywhere & proactively used by visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a week here in March after a serious accident. Couldn't have asked for better care. I'm from the south island so it was nice to be treated so well when 1100kms from home. Very friendly staff.
Looked after well above my expectations

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting my daughter I found the nurses were friendly and helpful. Her doctor however was rather rude and judgemental. Was allowed to sleep with my daughter in the Whanau Room at the hospital and that was awesome. Parking was excellent as I was allowed to park out front of the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Good on process and recommendations. Good but busy parking. Fantastic cafe, possibly cheapest in town. Nice cafe options. Good seating. Clean bathrooms. Pop up District nurse excellent. Hospital staff put patients and families first. Situated to provide professionals with a regional quality of work life balance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to ED early in the morning I was highly upset about a tall male nurse who was so rude,there were other people there,and what happen to respect your private details another nurse shouting the out questions for everyone to hear her I was so embarrassed ?
