β β β β β I wish I could give 0/5!
My whole perception towards this place has changed completely.
That's because of this one lady (staff) - who discriminates people based on their skin colour.
Avoid this premise if you aren't white. Otherwise, be prepared to face humilation and discrimination throughout your entire training session.
What a shamble.

β β β β β Excellent services. This is where you complete training to be a refugee resettlement volunteer and also first aid training. Friendly staff and great kaupapa. I have always had positive experiences here and would highly recommend their services. Doing first aid training with the red cross helps support their work in Aotearoa and overseas.

β β β β β They send you an email that doesnβt specify the need to do an online test prior to coming in for the in person first aid course. Then follow that up with a miserable condescending old woman who did everything she could to try and make me look/feel stupid in front of other people. Just an awful place I will never recommend it to anyone.

β β β β β Attended the Essential First Aid course and really enjoyed it. The tutors teaching style was excellent and the new CPR dummies with lights to make sure you CPR is the right speed were an awesome learning tool. Looking forward to my next refresher.

β β β β β PARKING: I parked for $6 for the whole day at 461 Anglesea Street, which was a 5 minute walk away. Others in my course parked on the road out front which theoretically is only 2 hours free and $6 an hour thereafter, but at the break they all moved their cars a street away. Theoretically itβs only 2 hours free in the whole CBD but from what I gather managing the parking in this way is common practice.
Course was good - giving only 4 stars it was really confusing in the morning trying to figure out where to leave my car!
