β β β β β Very disappointed with the customer service, I have applied for my childβs passport two weeks ago but still no news and when I called I waited for 1 hour and no one answered. Can I get a passport from their Auckland branch in same day.

β β β β β Trying to renew a child's passport but can't continue through the online application, advice online is to call them. NONE of the numbers provided work at all, there is literally no way to speak to anyone about this. And we travel in 7 weeks. Extremely frustrating and poor service.

β β β β β This is got to be the worse experience iv ever had. Iv waited on hold for 1 hour 34minute 23 seconds. I gave up. To get a passport urgently done for my younger brothers. Its nearly impossible to get a passport now. Manulau internal affairs have closed down. Disgraceful.

β β β β β ***edit* finally got contacted directly by a team leader who is sorting out our issues and making it happen. Apologies for the dely are constant and every step to remedy the issue are being suported now. Only took three months ??***Months and months of trying to get them to respond to my emails. Months of waiting to be responded to. When I called up finally, I was guaranteed a phone call within 24 hours, this did not happen. What on earth goes on behind the scenes that several emails are ignored and you're left with not knowing what to do next. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING ?

β β β β β Was told to do it online but im not eligible apparently so have to go in but no DIA office pucks up; Spent 4 n half hours on phone in last 3 days and no call back even and worst if all they keep hang up at the very end of each call
This is Absolutely Unacceptable standards for New zealand governmental Agencies and i will not be supporting Labor ever again with this type of Nonsense becoming the norm β?
If there was a 1/4 inch star id use that for my review

β β β β β i have called over 30 time - emailed and cannot get thorugh alway ingadged. the one time i got through i was on hold for 2 hours to have it hang up on me. I need to change my delivery address and i cant. The email system doesnt work and - Aboslutely terrible and so frustrating its rediculous

β β β β β Absolutely unacceptable - I've waited two hours on the phone expecting anyone to answer my queries; no one ever did. The automated message kept saying, "please stay on the line - your call is important to us". Clearly, it wasn't.
Also, knowing what my place was in the queue would be a lot more helpful.
(the query was regarding the Births, Deaths and Marriages area of the department).

β β β β β Absolutely incompetent. My partner ordered his passport at the end of last month (before the one month processing delay was announced) and he STILL has not received it despite them promising to post it as soon as possible for 3 weeks straight now. We have phoned every day and been met with a disconnected call or have had to wait 1.5 hours to speak to someone. Flights have skyrocketed in price since then and our planned trip may not even happen because of this unnecessary delay. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable from a government agency. Using COVID as a reason for delay is absolute nonsense.
