β β β β β They offer great service, all staff were caring and doctors were professional. They pay attention to little things and called us to do a follow up making sure we were ok. Highly recommend, it is expensive but we are getting the best service. Worth it.

β β β β β We needed an export certificate (basically a health check) for both of my dogs, at the same time they required a couple of booster vaccines and a rabies shot, although i paid the bill on reflection i feel it was a little unfair, the export cert is a quick questionnaire (7 yes or no questions) in regards to the health of the dog, as the dogs have always gone to this vet it should have been a very easy form to complete (in my opinion), for this i was charged $95 then we had a couple of vaccines and then listed was another health check at $75, so in effect $340 (for the health checks for both dogs) for the 30 minutes it took to get the dogs in and out of the surgery plus the fee's for the vaccines.
in effect (in my opinion) we have been double charged fort the health checks
When i queried these costs i have basically been told the export form is complicated and takes a while to do (obviously less than 15 minutes each) and that the charges are the charges!!! no compromise.
I mentioned that i was going to write a review on Google they said that i was trying to "blackmail" them into a reduction and "i could go and slate them off as i saw fit"
In my opinion that is not what the google review is for, i am merely passing on my experience with this retailer to others that may use their service.
I realise times are difficult at the moment, but to charge in such a way seemed a bit rude to me.
If i was keeping the dogs in this country i would certainly be changing their vets.

β β β β β Warning! Pet and Vet no longer have the same professional and skilled vets and vet nurses. I took my dog in because she had an upset stomach. My dog was hooked onto an IV drip, and my dog ended up with fluids in her lungs! My dog has no prior health condition, such as a heart condition that could facilitate this outcome. They don't deserve a single star rating; they are a bunch of clowns! Yet, their fees are sooooo expensive for poor, sub standard service! - I have now changed the vet clinic I take my dogs and cat to, and I should have done this sooner!
My dog's legs were covered in wounds from needle punctures!
I then had to take my dog to an emergency clinic to fix the trouble Pet and Vet had created!

β β β β β Sadly, this used to be one of the best vet clinics on the shore, however, the Vet-owner sold out to Vetcare and now it's just a money machine. They don't actually care about the animals, just about making money. All of the previous staff - who were wonderful, kind, knowledgeable and caring - have left. The new receptionists are rude and quite the opposite. If you have a question for a vet, well, you can't. Even if your dog is having a reaction to a vaccine, which my dog was. I was told by the rude young lady that it was impossible, that it couldn't be the vaccine. Really?? If you want to speak to a vet, you have to book an appt which costs $80 for 15 minutes. No phone consultations. They rush you in and out. They don't really care to know you or your pets. After 11 years with this vet clinic, I'm moving my dogs to Forrest Hill Vet Clinic immediately.
