β β β β β A real find, this place - the duck breast was presented as though it were haute cuisine, yet was also perfectly-sized as a portion for a meal. I like to go for a tiramisu if they have one when I try a new place, and here it was exceptional - and served with a glass of amaretto on the side!

β β β β β Brisket and steak good. Russian crepe, really good. Chicken mushroom hot pot - excellent, like really really good. Cumin roasted hen - really really bad, the salad was SICKLY SWEET but the chicken was a good tandoori style.

β β β β β We had an expensive and disappointing lunch here recently. My Maroccan lamb cutlets were disguised as chicken legs and the taste was confusing. My friend said her Le Sud Gallete was salty. Goodness knows what happened to the sides!... Cauliflower and Grilled Eggplant. Perhaps we should return when the No1 chef is on in the evening?

β β β β β Definitely a pleasant dinner with 5 star service and food quality. The superb standard was maintained from the moment we walked in to the time we checked out. The decorations are simple and neat. The wall of glass doors let more light come in, the whole restaurant is bright and cozy. The smiley staff was attentive and friendly.
Anyway, amazing experience with Roofed Cows. Definitely will be back again:)

β β β β β We had dinner at roofed cows a few Saturdays ago and I was so Surprised of how good the food was and the live music was nothing like we had experienced in New Zealand before. We felt like we're on holiday somewhere having a great time. The experience was out of this world and so pleasing. We are going back again this Saturday with more friend and I'm sure many many more times in future.
That's become my most favourite restaurant in Auckland. The food is Devine and the music is amazing!

β β β β β Exquisite food, creatively and meticulously arranged on each plate. Would recommend that you try a selection of small plates all of which were delicious and showed off the chef's skills to great effect. Service was attentive and the wines we chose were top class. Thanks to this family run restaurant for what was probably the best food we have had in Mission Bay over many visits.
