β β β β β Really small and unfriendly environment. If you need to see a doctor, regardless how sick you are you have to wait minimum of 3-4hrs in a small room full of sick people. Centre opens at 8 and queue builds up from 7.15am. There is no appointment system or numbering. If you are employed and want to see the doctor you have to get a full day off and spend the whole day there to get a good 15min with the doctor. If you are first registered here, this center gives a bad impression on NZ medical system. The whole waiting among the crowd without help makes you think how unimportant and helpless you re.
Dr Priya works here and that's the only reason we got registered there. She is the most friendliest and kind doctor you'll ever meet. She is the only reason people still go there. But the frustration and pressure you have to bare, just to get an appointment with her isn't worth it. Now I'm registered somewhere else and not afraid to visit my GP anymore.

β β β β β Sent a friend for a titanus injection in the afternoon. It took 2 hours from start to finish. He was asked to wait and wait. So think twice before entering this centre. I heard similar stories before but my friend experienced this time around. I said sorry to him as I suggested him to go there.

β β β β β Pathetic service!!!! They take alot of time to even answer the calls!!! They should definitely work on it!!! Alot of important is indeed needed. Also should get the appointment system which can lessen the waiting time.

β β β β β They never answer their phones and were rude the whole time I was there. I went for an ACC injury straight after it happened and despite the fact that I was bleeding and in 8/10 pain it took 40 minutes for someone to see me. The receptionist took 15 of those minutes to fill out an ACC form and was giving me attitude the entire time. The nurse thought it was a Saturday even though it was a Thursday and didn't know how to check if the bone was broken and they didn't listen to me when I was telling them details about my injury.

β β β β β I had a wonderful experience with Sandringham Medical. Was referred here by a friend and decided to come despite the awful google reviews at the time. I am hoping this trend changes, because this is a great medical practice.
Dr. Fonseka took care of me with the utmost professionalism and kindness - a combo quite rare in physicians in the allopathic world. I am very grateful for the care she gave and the time she spent with me making sure I knew I was well looked after. Reception and nurse were both incredibly kind as well. I highly recommend this practice.

β β β β β If possible to give minus 5 rating I would have given to this clinic. If you want to be treated with respect, dignity and feel cared about, please do not come here!!The attitude of receptionist name Radha is extremely rude and bully even she doesn't know how to speak and deal with patients. The way she behaves it feels like we have been living in the third world country, not in NZ. That behavior of Radha made me more sick for all day!!! Long waiting time to see a doctor are issues for this practice because management is extremely greedy for money and been enrolling new patients without being thinking about how they would look after these patients.

β β β β β My experience here was very good because its simple and straightforward process. Wait time is not that much. Updating and follow up process is fast with doctors. The receptionist Radha is also very informative and helps you out with any queries that you have. Definitely recommend this clinic.
