β β β β β Absolutely disgusting service, very rude to a minor whoβs was trying to pick up a prepayed meal was kicked out of the store fr not having a vaccine passport , he argued that his meal was already payed fr and was told tuff , luckily the cashier handed him his meal on way past , we will never buy sun way again , update your app so others donβt get caught out and treat people with respect

β β β β β Upon arrival I was approached by a staff member quickly asking for my vaccine pass, which ofcourse I did. I was not greeted. She had not approached the Indian women who was in front of me, the staff member then asked for her pass even though she was in the store before I was. As I was waiting to be served, the Manager came to serve the Indian lady welcomed her and took her order, it was my turn and not only did I not get greeted again but was immediately asked for my vaccine pass AGAIN knowing very well the Manager did not ask the lovely Indian women in front of me. Singled out because the design on my face mask is a Moko Kauae, singled out because my babies and I are MΔori descendants. What breaks my heart was that my two children stood next to me wondering what just happened and why I went silent got in to our vehicle with tears down my face. I had to explain what discrimination is at the age of 9 and 5years old!
I have no intentions of returning back to Subway Stafford Street, Timaru ever again. Discrimination is not ok!!
