★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With a group for lunch. Effectively ran out of food. On request made more sandwiches, not worth the wait. Some odd looking bacon and egg sort of pie left which tasted ok but didn't look good. The lack of assistance for a wheelchair diner is the biggest issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at backyard catering were amazing for our wedding. They definitely think of all the little things and small touches. The staff were professional and helpful, they were efficient and the food was amazing!
Our guests commented that the food was delicious and the set up was beautiful and inviting. would totally recommend these guys, and such a good price too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gardens to wander in with quirky old decorations tucked in quiet spots. The cafe was lovely and well decorated. Tables with upright chairs and a sofa and armchair area too, all socially distanced. There is an outdoor deck with tables for fine-day dining. The cakes were well displayed. It was easy to see the range of drinks available. I asked for a savoury pinwheel to take-away and it was beautifully presented in a cardboard box with a wooden fork.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Backyard Catering catered my wedding on our property in New Plymouth. Their food was absolutely amazing, all our guests raved about the delicious food. The bar staff were also amazing, their service was above and beyond. Linda was amazing to deal with from booking to planning to the big day. I cannot recommend Linda and her team enough!!
