★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The drive is long but once you arrive it is beach time. Plenty shade and wide beach means everyone can make the most of it.
The water was cold but you quickly become used to it. The waves are continious and you can boogy or small surfboard but SUP and kayaks will struggle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful beaches tobvisit. This is just over an hour from Auckland and a great place to take the family for swimming and boogie boarding. There is plenty of space to set up camp for the day and the brand new toilets are clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It worths to have the 5 stars rated. White sand beaches are big enough for you to find your favorite spot to relax. Camping ground, walking tracks, toilets, drinking water fountains. We enjoy to have a walk around the peninsula, it's amazingly beautiful. 5.5 hours to walk 18km.
