Only problem is the waiting time. Even for a simple prescription always have to wait 15 minutes or more. The staff is good and always got all the essentials.

It's not just the tablets you need to watch here. If you are a high user of prescriptions, do keep count of them. Over the last few years we have had quite a few and when i asked just how many we had had (knowing they should be free after 20) it turned out we had has 26 already. There was no apology - let alone a refund. (They even charged me $1 or the A5 piece of paper the list was printed on!) The next year I queried it and this time we were up to 23. Again, no apology, no offer of refund. To keep charging when they should be free seems a bit like double-dipping. You also need to check that the instructions given on the medication correspond to what you doctor was told you. i was given two very similar drugs but with instructions for different usage. Both packages came with the same instructions for both. in this case it wasn't important, but... Johnson also owns the Marsden village pharmacy (or at least the same people work in both) so not much competition here.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to AnneMarie the pharmacist. Even under the huge pressure the staff have been under with Covid, she stayed calm, really friendly and went that extra mile by offering extremely helpful advise with regards to the medication that we had been prescribed. She is a real credit to the pharmacy!!

We have had SO many bad experiences here. Frequently I will be told there will be a 20 minute wait, I'll come back 30 minutes later, and the script is still not ready. Okay fine they are busy. But it would be easily solved by changing their standard advice from 20 minutes to 30 minutes or 1 hour or whatever. Then the customer would adjust their plans, rather than waiting around for a wasted 20 minutes. This week my husband went in with two scripts, was told to wait 20 minutes, when he came back, they said they hadn't filled one of them and to come back tomorrow. He had been waiting around at the mall with our sick toddler. If they had given him a more accurate timeframe he would have just come home. With the other script, they said they didn't have the product, there was a nationwide shortage, nobody had any. The next morning, he went back for the first script, and they still hadn't filled it and told him to wait 20 minutes ? Instead, he took both scripts back, went to Marsden Village Unichem where they said, yes we have both of those, come back in an hour. Both scripts were filled with no problem within the stated time. And more to the point, Karori Mall told him that medication wasn't available. If he had listened to them, we would have gone without it because of their incorrect information. That was really the last straw. The mall pharmacy is convenient because it's right by the medical centre, but after years of putting up with this kind of service - and it IS consistently bad - we are just going to make the extra effort to go to Marsden instead.

A very good pharmacy I'm a very demanding sort of customer and I ring them to see if my scripts have been emailed and if they have received them. They are always good to me and I haven't had any problems but because I ring them and have had a little disagreement with one of the pharmacist they have blocked my number. So now I carnt see if my script has been sent thru which sucks. Now I have to walk all the way down there to find out.I also have spotted that my script count has been on personal 9 and famiy 15 and I have had well over 30 person and well over 30 family and should have been on exemption card awhile ago.

Charged me $5 to read an email that most other pharmacies don't charge anything for. And I doubt the receptionist and pharmacist combined was paid $60+ an hour... So $10 instead of $5 for my script. On top of a wait time despite phoning many hours earlier in the day with the time I'd be in. Won't be going back there! I'll go to the bargain chemist and get my prescriptions for free instead, since they can't even carry over or keep track of the prescription count for subsidy card. I specifically asked and was told yes they do and we'll make sure that happens, but still just one from this place so far.. won't be getting my count high enough here if I can help it.

The best pharmacy I have ever had. They are fast, friendly and really very efficient. I really appreciate them for their awesome customer service. Every time I visit them they always ask about about me and how my day going. Overall they deserve 1000 stars, I would be happy if I could give them. I recommend every one to visit them once, they are really very helpful, knowledgeable and awesome. Thank you very very much… ??
