★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They failed me for a crack in my windscreen that had no interference with my field of vision, my lesson instructor and past test guy said that it was fine and this man failed me today for it. If i wasn’t able to sit it with the crack why could i the first time?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there on 5 January. The Receptionists were very nice and friendly, but the older dude who I assume is one of the mechanics was a real grumpy bum. The impatient and rude way he spoke to me left a real bad taste in my mouth.
Lots of us have busy days at work and get tired and frustrated, but that’s no reason to talk down to someone. He should learn to stay professional or get a job where he doesn’t have contact with people.
I won’t be back, nor will I recommend.
Edited to add... Thank you for the response, and taking legitimate feedback seriously.
I'm also increasing the rating as when I went back recently for the recheck every person was really friendly, and even super helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in to swap plates with forms already completed, but were told to head to another VTNZ despite it being 5 mins to closing time. Obviously more passionate about the weekend than customers. Shame on you VTNZ Rangiora!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, it was obviously revenue gathering day today. Five fails consecutively to young people by one (smug) instructor. Good job VTNZ. Please don't insult me any more by replying to this comment - I'm about to write another review about your appallingly rude staff. Where's the no stars option? Wish I'd read the multiple dissatisfied reviews before going near the place. And no, I won't waste my time filling out a complaint form - I couldn't get the instructor's name - they refused to give it - Hmmm... Here's my other review (seeing as I only get 1) I was so appalled at the rudeness of your staff because I did not wear a mask. They are allowed to ask if I require 1, but they are not allowed to demand that I put 1 on. They are there to provide a service - not to police the public, totally disgusted at your staff's belittling & discriminating behaviour - again - please don't reply, I've been insulted enough for the day. Will never go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son had Sheree for driving restrictions test and she was very intimidating and rude from the beginning, she didn't introduce herself, I found out about her name from the report, which was sent it to us. Very disappointed with this person. Definitely I will make a complaint against her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff inside were lovely, but had asked my driving instructor if I could have my mother in the car with me, which I am ALLOWED to have and I was blatantly told no which is utter bs, was very much not personable and hard to sit in the car with. Don’t recommend having the English male instructor if you go ??

I had my Full license test and I was pretty nervous, I’m lucky a had a lovely lady by the name of Liana ! She was so good and patient with me when I was going through the test. She was always helping me feel confident in the areas I thought I was going wrong and honestly it was the greatest driving test ever with such a positive, amazing great instructor. And she went above and beyond to get me a temporary license as mine was expired as Northwood VTNZ wouldn’t do anything when I went to renew it last year before my expiry date… so thank you to Liana and to the amazing lady at reception yesterday Friday 21/01/2022 you lady’s are awesome!! Thank you so much ! Well done Rangiora VTNZ

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best testing staff. They're so friendly, respectful, understanding and helpful. If VTNZ could train every licencing tester staff member in NZ from these wonderful people, customers would be more comfortable taking their practical tests
