Simple story
So they sent us a message 2 days before and sent a confirmation test but on the day…THEY NEVER SHOWED!!! We called more than 10 times and never picked up. We emailed and never replied back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called for a quote he seemed offended he said he will charge what he charges. When I told him if rather an idea of the cost he started swearing and being quite vulgar . Told him thats not the way to speak to someone enquiring about his buisness and hung up . Horrible way to talk to a potential customer and he was the first person I had called which had soured my mood as well. Very rude person do not recommend someone this disrespectful on the phone kept going on even when I told him I'm going to hang up as I don't want to ruin my day and his. Probably was still ranting after I had hung up. Horrible experience.

He called me after this review said he will leave it in my hands to remove this review
Then goes off at me again about my 1 sided story because he answered the call at 530pm and was ready to book me in. Proceeds to swear again and then tries to bully me into removing my review or "its in your hands" but he might do something if I dont? Seriously not the way to handle buisness. An easy apology and please remove your review wouldve have gotten the job done. Instead his decided to go ahead call and attack me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in a real bind - on my own and with a young baby - when a courier company had delivered a sofa but refused to move it upstairs.
These guys popped in at the end of their shift on a Sunday after I sent out an SOS. They were polite, friendly, helpful, careful and really quick. They carefully removed door and light fittings and replaced them afterwards and minimised scuffing to the walls and ceiling, but most valuable of all, they were so keen to help. They ended up having to lift the couch from their truck step-platform over a balcony, then up some stairs - they made it look easy. I highly recommend Waikato Movers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service and don't respect their appointment. We booked them for furniture removal on the 21of January, 2022, before 2 weeks of the appointment, and confirmed that one day before the appointment. On the night of 20th of January, called us we can't not do the job and we enforced to book for other one during the night that cost double the price. Legally they should pay for that. The worse things is that there was no apology or something to replace their job.

I booked with them a month in advanced and confirmed a week prior. 30 minutes after they were meant to have arrived I tried phoning and emailing but couldn't get through. When I was eventually contacted I was told a sob story about covid and gas prices and that the job would get done if I allowed him the whole day, even though I'd only booked for two hours. After phoning around to other movers I was told horror stories about this company and that many others had to last minute find other options as this company has a habit of doing these sorts of things and worst. All I can say is I wish I read the reviews, lesson learnt.

I booked with this moving company 1 month before the date and confirmed a week before moving. At 30 minutes after confirmed time I began ringing and emailing and was not successful. Eventually I got a call back and got a sob story about gas prices and covid. He then asked if he could have the whole day to move us even though we booked for 2hours only. After ringing around with other movers I was told horror stories about this company and many others being let down.
I wish I had read reviews prior to booking. Won't make that mistake again!
