★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being in the know about holistic and herbal medicine I was not disappointed visiting Wellington Apothecary from Taranaki.
A friendly lady greeted me and we got talking about adaptogenic medicine, she soon called over their medical herbalist who gave me good recommendations for my skincare, and they made sense also.
I have been impressed by the Nourishing facial oil, she recommended this over straight rosehip as it can sit on the skin longer rather than absorbing as well as this oil- she was right and I can see the results when I moisturise.
Pink French Clay mask is devine and cleared my back heads, leaving my face feeling really smooth after 2 uses. Rose toner is nice and gentle and calming.
The quantity you get for the price is very reasonable, as oils go further than water based moisturiser, the French clay powder will last ages as you use 1/2 teaspoon for your whole face. With the bonus of knowing its natural yet effective, plus picked by knowledgeable locals who know their stuff- its a win win.
Check out the herbal tinctures as they are all distilled to a high quality and fresher. Glad to find this store as there's nothing else like it in Wellington or where I travelled from.
I could have stayed there for more than the 30mins I did!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for my first botanical massage from Isabelle, I don't get massage's often as I never really feel amazing but this was just heavenly, I felt amazing afterwards. You are able to pick what oil you want and she will add to what she thinks is best. Really nice massage and kind woman. She also gave me muscle balm and tea grind afterwards. Also been here to get oils before and have found some that suit me well as I'm really sensitive to strong smells.

Being around Isabelle is an instant relaxation, she is so kind and calm ❤️. Everything she does is minutious and all little details make your massage time top level. If you want to wrap in a bubble of love and kindness, this massage is for you !
And of course, she uses the amazing products of the apothecary shop so your skin will love it ! Isabelle is my friend so I support her (of course). That said, I have done quite a lot of massage experiences and this one is definitely in my top two ! Don't think twice, life is too short ?????♀️?♀️?♂️?♂️
