★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed every minute spent at the Whangarei Marina. The docks and facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff are both kind and helpful and the location is beyond convenient. There is a Pak N' Save right across the street and many eateries within walking distance. If you are looking for a place where you can walk right off your boat and into the heart of town, this is it. 11/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great facilities and just a short walk to many shops and restaurants. Boat services to cover about anything you need done. A great loop path for walking and cycling with nice art on the way - takes about an hour to walk it - don't miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are traveling around the world in our sailboat. This marina is one of our favorites! The staff is very friendly, the cruiser's lounge is nice, the showers are very clean and only $1 NZD. Laundry facilities are nice as well. The location could not be better. Just about anything you could want or need for your boat/home is within walking distance. Couldn't ask for more ♥️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love grabbing a coffee, browsing the boutique shops and letting the kids scooter around and play in the awesome park at the end. It's super safe. Lovely being by the boats. You can continue your scooter, bike or walk all the way down to the over bridge or beyond. Cool place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place to watch boats and people, in the evening it gets something enchanting. There is a large playground nearby, so go for a short walk, after which the children can play for a while.
