β β β β β Had a pre purchase inspection completed on a car I was looking to purchase, as expected the car had some issues. I brought the car based on the pre purchase provided by this aa center on the 1st April, apon sending it into my workshop in chch they picked up a number of serious issues that were missed. Currently I just appear to be getting the run around 3 weeks on and still have no answers or resolution.
Nzta us now dealing with this problem to hopefully finally get a result.
Would not recommend this center at all!

Quick service and I feel like they have gone the extra mile to make sure I got the best service.. definitely reccomend

β β β β β I am an AA member so I wanted to try the Platinum service on my car. I wanted to make sure that my car is in good condition before going traveling. Unfortunately the service did not meet my expectations at all. The service was to take about 3h but it was completed in only 1,5h. It would not have been considered as a problem but:
The man at the reception was not interested at all. He just wanted to get paid as soon as possible and did not say a word about the service and the car condition. So after paying and few minutes of silence I asked him about the brakes and overall condition of the car. He seemed to be frightened and confused and it looked like I was the first person asking this question in his life. He just replied with a stern answer that the car was fine with just a few minor issues and brakes were fine too. He did not specify the issues at all. The main thing that unsettled me the most was that I was not warned neither got any information about two issues that I have known about before getting the car serviced. These two things should have been checked during the service. Air conditioning belt in totally bad condition with obvious cracks and a ripped piece of a cover hanging down from the chassis. So I asked him also about these two things. He was confused again and I could clearly see that he did not know about them. So he went to ask his serviceman and he came back with the answer that it was just a piece of rubber and it is OK to be hanging from the chassis. About the air conditioning belt I was only informed about the price of replacement. This is quite odd and unprofessional.
The whole experience was really negative and sad. For the best and the most expensive type of service I was expecting a report or at least to be warned about the obvious problems. I did not get anything. It filled me with uncertainty and fear if the service was done properly.
