★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We employed Abbie Chapman Interior Design to help us with a living zone interior design concept in 2020 and the experience was entirely fabulous. Abbie is a great listener, who was able to assist us to express and refine our objectives for the space. She presented us with great design ideas, a thoughtful furniture placement plan and a variety of colour, furniture and accessory options, all able to be sourced locally and at different price points to give us lots of flexibility. Her communication was excellent and her service completely professional. I would love to work with her again!

Her attention to detail and reflecting our needs and personalities have ensured that we can plan ahead with the builder to ensure we can achieve what we need during the build process. She can work to any clients brief and budget and her attention to detail is fantastic.

For me, realising that any style, any look, any piece I love (regardless of trends) can look amazing when treated right, is freeing and exciting, and it means anyone can have an amazing cohesive space - you just need Abbie in your life!
Abbie makes you aware of how you want a space to feel, look and be to suit your lifestyle, which is so much more important than striving simply to create a great looking space that may never feel right.
Abbie is a great listener and she is kind, gentle and patient - just what is needed to bring out the inner designer in us all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very excited and relieved when Abbie agreed to design the interior for our new build in Waikanae.
Having seen a small sample of Abbie’s interior design work, we were confident that she had the ability and talent to deliver what we were looking for. It was important to us that the design work was “ youthful “ and had the “wow” factor.
Abbie took our hopes, dreams and ideas and put it together in a look which blew us away.
Abbie selected the hard floors, carpets, tiles, wallpapers, paints, light shades, curtains, lamps, bed linen, , home accessories and furniture ( we used a mixture of existing and new).
Working with Abbie was an absolute pleasure and we are thrilled with the results.
Thank you Abbie for turning our house into a beautiful home with lots of “ “wow” factor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbie guided my wife Natasha & I in selecting our paint colours for exterior and all of the interior in our newly built home. She also guided us in furnishing and creating the look for our living and dining space, our master bedroom and our garage (mancave lol).
She took the responses from the questionnaire we completed and came up with some options for us to consider. They were great options too.
The green in our master bedroom and media room has turned out much better than I had envisioned.
The furnishings in our living space is amazing (the colourful rug, the spinning chairs etc). In fact, we get so many compliments about it and we tell our family and friends that Abbie was the one who chose the items for us.
We LOVE our master bedroom as well. I was apprehensive on the colours and various items but; now everything is in; it all makes sense and looks/feels amazing.
Abbie herself is very friendly and great to work with. She is also very responsive - which is key when you just want to get things moving.
We have no problems referring her to anyone. It is worth the investment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbie designed our dark poorly designed and decorated rumpus room into a light filled usable space beyond our expectations.
We now have a rumpus room that is a pleasure to use and her design has completely transformed the room. It is now a space that we want to use.
Abbie was a pleasure to work with and went over and above on every occasion. She understood what we wanted and also our limited b grade budget. I loved Abbie's style and approach and would one day love for her to provide interior design to the rest of the home!
I would never have known where to start but there is nothing I don't love about what Abbie has done. She is a perfectionist and works tirelessly to achieve top results. Despite us not having a huge budget the room looks like a high end transformation.
I look forward to engaging Abbie again down the track and wouldn't consider anyone else. I felt Abbie was a like a friend and I enjoyed having a cuppa and chat with her during her visits.
