Awesome ..... amazing ...great.... tasty biriyani

We got butter chicken from him for about 30 people. We were so shocked as it didn't tasted like butter chicken was so disappointing literally would not buy anymore from him, I would not recommend this catering to anyone. Good luck ?

Fantastic Biryani from Ace Caterers. We have eaten many many times from here and Akbari has always kept the taste and quality the same.

The owner of this place Mr Akbari neither has customer service nor curtsey how to talk to the customers. Following is my communication with Mr Akbari over the text messages and the phone conversation when he rang me later on. ----------------------- Hello Akbari I hope my review as below would be taken constructively. When we eat your Biryani for the first time at my friend's birthday party on 18th September, we thought it was the best biryani we had ever eaten. We were looking forward to the same experience yesterday and even our kids were having the same expectations after hearing our reviews from our first experience. You would know better what would have gone wrong yesterday but we were highly disappointed. It was not biryani first of all. The family pack had chicken & potato curry at the bottom and plain rice at the top. The rice quality was pretty poor too. I thought of sharing my review with you personally as I didn't want to do so on public domain. We aren't sure if our first very good experience was an exception or yesterday's bad one was just one off. As mentioned yesterday, we are foodies and party people always on lookout for good restaurants and catering places. Regards Rahul His response: Sorry about that if you take in a pot that minimum quantity & family pack in pack its always difference My response: Understand that but getting Chicken and potato curry and rice in place of biryani wasn't expected. You may put yourself in our shoe and decide if this would be acceptable to you as a customer. ‐---------------------------- Mr Akbari rang me and questioned why did I give him the lecture. I told him that using the word "lecture" was very unappropriate and also explained to him that I wanted to give him my honest feedback personally and not on any public media. He told me to do whatever I wanted to as he has 30 years of cooking experience and he doesn't care for customers who give this kind of feedback. He mentioned that he has got many customers and he doesn't want customers like me. Even at this stage, I told him in Hindi that अकबरी सा'ब, this is not the right attitude and pointed out to him that I was still maintaing the etiquette and wanted him to lower his tone. Despite he kept on showing his arrogant attitude and said that I coukd write his review where ever I wanted as he didnt care. This is where the discussion got heated up & I disconnected the phone seeing no value in it. He might be serving the best food and my experience with the food might be one off but I will never woukd go to a place where customers are treated like this. I wish everyone going to him all the best.

Best Biryani ! Not only in Auckland or New Zealand. But some of the best you'll ever have !
