Tips, Warnings and Rules for Storage at AceSpace
First the Rules
- No Smoking on Site
- Pour nothing down our drains – these are storm drains
- Don’t bring dogs onto site and make sure children are supervised.
- Don’t let anyone into storage using the key reader at the inside of the gate, this reactivates the security and you could get a nasty shock off the fence.
- Don’t tailgate in without using the key for access control, for the same reason.
- Don’t let anyone you don’t know into the facility, and be responsible regarding who you allow in.
Warnings
- We have a number of cameras around the site.
- Fire extinguishers are on the buildings as you come in.
Tips
- Store moisture sensitive items off the floor or on plastic sheets.
- Clothing should be kept in plastic boxes if storing long term.
- Mark boxes with felt pen and keep a map of where things are – useful if you need to find something mid-term.
- Cover furniture and fabrics with a plastic sheet or tarpaulins – humid days followed by cold nights can create condensation.
- Check your items monthly if possible. If you are away consider assigning someone else to keep an eye on your unit.
- Consider insurance. Our insurance does not cover your goods.
