Hahaha it’s really a very small and funny lighthouse. While the track is good and worth a shot

Lovely walk, was hoping to see more of a light house. But worth the tracking.

The track to the light house is pleasant. The scenery of Foveaux Strait is beautiful.

A good brisk walk from the main streets up to this light house. The path is along the road a way until you reach the green signs from the council then the pathways are very well kept wooden planks and gravel. There is a toilet just before you begin this part of the walk. There is a small fishing point on the way to the light House. A good walk.

Ackers point was a great walk. We walked from downtown which was about 5km. You can drive right to the entry way and then it isa gentle trail to the end. If you look carefully in the 1st picture ( Ackers point lookout) there is a seal sunning itself. Lots of blue penguins also. Great experience and spot.

Ackers Point track to the lighthouse is a nice track that takes around 30 mins one way. We drove from Oban and parked outside. There is the old Acker's cottage along the way, a few lookout points and native birds to spot along the way. Be sure to listen for the birds and stop to spot them
