โ โ โ โ โ I was a student their back in 2016 at first i was worried about the literacy side as i write my words in short hand but i have to admit i had a lot of help from the staff members there and i ended up doing all the courses they had going the computer course level 1 and 2 and the workforce to do my CV and redid the literacy and numeracy course again and the business course i found it was great as my learning was progressing i was offered a work experience with them as well in the reception doing stock taking answering calls filing printing and getting shopping when required and setting up new classes and other duties as well which lead to being the student of the year was a great success than in 2017 i was asked if i would like to work for them as a assistant tutor to help other students who needed extra help with the computer side of things i was also doing a part time course in business at Te Wananga O Aotearoa in which the staff at ALTA still help with my studies if i ever got stuck on somethings that i couldnt understand and using their equipment like there laptops and printing out my assessments i do understand it can be hard for people going in or feel they not welcome but my advice is to tell them how your feeling dont feel a shame the staff are there to help and i must say it was a great way how i came this far but due to me leaving alta after the 2nd term due to medical reason and do hope some people still go their they do care about how you wanting to learn.

Not only they help you sucessed your dream path way to your desire carrier but they observed your learning and what they can help you concer in the long run. I'm currently studying with them toward my degree and Sandie, Belinda and Cavin and all staff their are their for one purpose to help you gain skills and knowledge toward whatever you want to accomplish in life with carrier pathway. Appreciate all the effort you put toward the students. ??

โ โ โ โ โ ALTA is the best place to learn life and work skills. Lively and very multicultural place for students who learn in a non threatening relaxed atmosphere.
Teachers and admin and management respect a students needs and support them always. All the tutors are highly skilled and very very patient. Ed coordinator Julie is a Super problem solver and motivates learner highly.
Keep it up Pete , Julie and all staff members. You ROCK!
