I have come to know Matt Jones since our company’s beginning, having entrusted our Health and Safety policy and procedures development with him.
Matt has a unique ability to communicate H&S laws or obligations in a simplified manner, turning the greyer areas of H&S into something we can all understand. Our latest procedures which were revised and simplified since Matt founded his own company - Advanced Safety, are easy for our staff and subcontractors to follow. Our H&S procedures are less about paperwork and more about involving tradesmen so that we go beyond the minimum standards and actually tackle the biggest hazards on our site in a practical manner, involving the people who are exposed to the hazards the most in the formation of site level procedures.
We would recommend Matt and Advanced Safety for anyone’s H&S needs, without any hesitation.

Through all our Alerts Matt and the team have provided support and resources with people first in mind..Webinars (most often run for free)..resources like Checklists that for example worked along side the Construction Industry Protocols that took the stress out of trying to figure out what to do next..and most of all always ready for a chat when it was needed..and top that off with a Facebook group that provides a platform for sharing and supporting each other. AWESOME!! So stoked Matt is part of the NZ Health and Safety family!
