★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had a benchtop installed by AGB Stone and it's awful. They smashed up brand new cabinets while installing the bench top and I have not received any contact from them at all, not even an apology let alone any compensation for smashing a brand new $600 cabinet. They also didn't put any seal between the benchtop and wall, leaving it looking cheap and shoddy. I would never recommend this company. They are crafty enough to demand full payment before delivery so they can just walk away from expensive damage and shoddy work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The instal of the initial bench was poor with seams that were 2 - 3 mm wide, completely uneven and just poor workmanship. I requested instantly that this be fixed. It took several follow ups for them to send someone. I had ordered a 2nd bench (before the problems emerged) and that was later installed after initial hicups with them getting the measurements wrong (although they tried to blame that on me, saying the cabinetry must have been moved as they've never ever made a mistake....). I can't fault the 2nd bench instal, that one looks great. However, I'm still waiting since Nov last year (8 months later!) to get the original issue resolved, and now one of the seams has started cracking and beaking up. I contacted them again and was told 'we are too busy to get back to you; we can put you in touch with someone and you'll have to pay as you still owe us money". Yes, I withheld payment for the 2nd bench as I am waiting for the original mess up to be fixed... I have yet to hear back after my reply a few weeks ago with a follow up sent as well. Their attitude is arrogant and rude, the workmanship is poor and there is no accountability. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money with another reputable company. I would if I could do it all over again. Truly disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back from the Wellington premises and was told they do stone only which according to the website is not true ( we are after Acrylic) also not on the website is the fact you have to ring for an appointment to enter the showroom, would have been good to know before a wasted journey. I know we're at level whatever but there was not another soul around. He offered us next Tuesday, it's now Thursday!!
Needless to say we'll be going elsewhere.
