BUNGY ORIGINS
Bungy has always been a life-changing experience. It began with a small group of people in Vanuatu. They fearlessly threw themselves from huge towers for centuries with merely a few vines around their feet. They called it ‘land-diving’, and legend says that it started when a mistreated wife threw herself from a tall tree, saving herself with the vines while the husband fell to his death.
The event was reconstructed annually, only by women. Eventually men would join in to prove their courage, and the tradition is upheld to this day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and daughter did the Tandem swing together. They both loved it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Was great getting to watch others do their bungy jumps.
My daughter and I hope to come here to do the jump next time! Certainly a must do activity here in Taupo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome crew and experience. Make sure to ask to get put in the water to your waist. It's well worth it. Happy with the price. It seemed fair being the fact they got a lot of safety gear to keep me safe and alive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was awesome experience for life time but the quality of the photos and video it was disappointing. I think it’s a memory for life time and I just paid extra 40$ only for video. But it would be better that someone from our group have taken the photos and videos rather than paying extra money for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had so much fun doing the swing together me and my partner, it was such an extraordinary amazing experience, thank you for making it happen.
Unfortunately we had to stay 45 minutes extra and we were supposed to make it earlier
Also we bought the photos and videos and wanted to be sent on both emails but they said we can send it to only one email… that was a bit of weird but it’s still available at least for on of the emails

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing bucket list experience! my 4 children did the Swing and my 15yr old and me did the Bungee... she said the Bungee was easier and less scary so good to know that.
The crew were amazing and very supportive. Being in my 40's and at the top end of the weight limit and scared of heights I was very nervous especially as having a back injury years ago I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. My advice is ask them as the experience was amazing. Definitely take their advice of not standing at the edge and think... just do it!! There was no harsh jolt and Definitely no pain. I am so glad I did it. Be brave... you'll be so glad you did!!!
