★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2Mar17 In 1993 my wife and I brought our son here for his first day of school; 23 years later I am back with my two of my son's daughters. The five year old started school four weeks ago. It is a great little school. Still out in what Kiwi's call "the country" (rural) on a margin of the nearby urban housing areas. Now as with almost all schools this one has a perimeter fence around with locked gates to prevent entry/exit during school hours. I see more ethnic diversity than 25 years ago. And more prefabs.
