★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Petrol here is cheap, although annoyingly, I wasn't able to pump here as a tourist because they only take chip and PIN, and for some reason my PIN doesn't work (although it works elsewhere). Paywave might've been nice, if possible -- that usually works for me everywhere.

We pass through Cromwell frequently going to and from Queenstown but today got caught out by the diesel not being available. If we can't rely on it, we will have to make other plans to fuel up and they will loose us as a regular customer!
