★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $180 for 3 people, 1 bar of soap between us, rude reception not welcoming spoke to us thru a window like she was running a tinny house, charge for WiFi and will charge you $10 extra for any uncleaned dishes. Our presence seemed to be an inconvenience, not to worry as we won't be back. $180 absolute joke! I'd advise anyone not to stay here there are many great motels in chch for a heck of alot cheaper

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very poor communication - from confirming booking through AA Tourism, emailing and ringing.. nothing! Had to ask about five times for confirmation of booking. When we arrived, woman (part owner) very bad attitude, again had to ask for general info e.g. where is our room, had no idea how to open barrier arm - not given full information. Door to unit probably not legal fire exit....Positives - good sized room, clean, location. Would not stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facilities are clean but no cooking utensils in the kitchen. Railway track runs alongside campgrounds so had a dreadful sleep as trains rumbled past ALL through the night. Seems a very negative camp as notices everywhere advising if you do the wrong thing you will be fined would not stay here ever again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main office person was very friendly n helpful the rm was clean and tidy. There was noise frm Ruapuna race track and it was quiet ? loud, mayb due to the horrible wind making noise worse than it was.
Plz supply ashtrays for butts as the rm next to mine had a lot of cigarettes butts around the door and table.More hooks to hang towels. A booklet with Restaurants in the area etc would of helped.and a guide on how to use the TV. Free wifi would of been nice.
Beds could of been more comfortable, but it was only for a few nites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thunderous Traffic noise up to midnight constantly. Seriously annoyed. No basic kitchen tool. No tea towel, no dish wash soap, lounge locked up even in the morning 9 am. Not sure why it is there. Some of electric hot plate in the kitchen didn't work. Only one worked properly actually. Cost was $45 although way better top holiday park in busy spot was max $50.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My ex partner has been staying at this holiday park as emergency accommodation through MSD.
The owner operators are more than happy to take $140 per night from msd but refuse to clean the room or change the sheets as apparently you should be happy that they have allowed you to stay!!!
Since my ex partner asked for the sheets to be changed after a week of sleeping on the same ones she now receives towels which look like they have been shredded furthermore the cleaners go through her personal items.
If you provide a service do it to the best of your abilities and don't treat people like dirt.
Alpine view holiday park you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used soap in the shower, all the dishes were dirty, the owner walks around the camp yelling and swearing, there's a train track right next to the rooms which keeps you up, the jug had some yellow sticky substance in it. Left the room cleaner then it was when I arrived and the owner is still trying to get us to pay $300 extra because it's not up to her standard and there's people wanting to book the rooms and she can't find cleaners over the holiday season....
Worst holiday park I've ever stayed at. This woman should not be in business.
