★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my dog for a groom and while trying to explain what I wanted (full clip with minor dematting on tail and ears) the groomer ignored me and repeatedly said to my dog "We'll rescue you, we'll rescue you!!" From what, exactly?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for cat flea treatment and although they were out of the product I was looking for, there was a suitable alternative. The lady who helped me was friendly and engaging. Will definitely go back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 staff behind the counter and the only one that said 'hi' sounded and looked disinterested. While washing my dog, I noticed the conditioner was out but there was no one around to help. I dried my dog and told the same girl at the counter about the conditioner and she bluntly said 'ok thanks' and put her head down and kept working at the computer. They all seemed to actively avoid talking to customers..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do the staff in this store think they are exempt from the current covid rules?...5 staff were in the store and not one of them bothered with a mask...they obviously don't care about rules or their customers protection! I only went in for some dog food that i can't get anywhere else in Whangarei on a sunday, i will not go in to this store ever again. Thanks Animates Whangarei for basically giving your customers the middle finger!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely won't be going back... bought 2 x Bravecto Plus for my cats, cost $150!!!! Could have got it elsewhere for $108. Guess it's my own fault for not shopping around, but still, what a huge difference! Rip-off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i would rather give 0 stars. Like another reviewer said. Seems the staff at this store have gone rouge as they think they are exempt from the current covid rules? From the minute I arrived finding NO signs for mask wearing keeping distance etc. Obviously they don't care about their customers protection! Luke at customer service didn't seem to care about blatant covid rules. I will not go in to this store ever again. Thanks Animates Whangarei for basically giving your customers the middle finger!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compliments to Kelly the Groomer. Fabulous job on our very hairy fur baby (traveller's with limited access to groomers who mostly aren't taking new or casual clients). No sign of any non mask wearers here despite some comments on here! Except for some customers but then non mask wearers appears to be quite common up here in Whangarei !
