About Antiques in Thames
We Callaways’ have had Antiques in Thames at 638 Pollen Street for nearly forty years, we began small as a second-hand store. Thirty years ago, Peter and Ruth Callaway took a leap and imported their first container of English antiques, and so began our international antique trading.
Son John is the current owner; he is passionate and forthright about this old stuff. John trades locally, and to date, he has handpicked and imported a further 111 containers of antiques for the store. Our small dedicated team at Antiques in Thames all love this old stuff too.
We offer affordability, variety and outstanding customer service. Online we exhibit just a taste of our collection. Come visit us and you’ll see our 5000 square foot store is vast and ever-changing. There was something for anyone interested in antiques and if they don't have it they seemed really keen to try and find it for you, I am now a frequent shopper here and have bought about 9 pieces and they all look great in my home. I have always found the staff and owner to be very friendly and helpful and there's a great coffee shop next door as well.
