โ โ โ โ โ I have great grandparents, grandparents, my Dad & his brother all at this lovely cemetery. It's quiet, sheltered on all 3 sides from any winds, very hot on a summers day, usually well maintained but if there are any issues, a phonecall to Timaru District Council will get things sorted. At my last visit I was surprised to find the two large gates padlocked shut , something that has never happened before in my lifetime, but there is a small side gate that can be used to enter the cemetery and I went through that, for the first time ever !! Had a good wander round and checked up on the family graves. Felt the grounds could do with a good mow.Hopefully they've been done since. Recommend a visit if you're into cemeteries.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice cemetery, still actively used as seen some fresh burials, place is actively maintained, walking in through the gate, there's a info box showing plot locations. Then as you continue walking, you walk through a row of trees leading up to a very big plaque with a nice phrase from the bible on, writing is a bit faded but can be still made out at the right angle.
