★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff but neither the website or staff are not trained or provide education on adverse reactions particularly to long term effects of prevention medications such as inhaled corticosteriods (which I found to be exactly the same as severe asthma attacks).
They were the only source that I found to supply certain nebuliser parts and a small converter so that I could use an inhaled medication with a common spacer. Which was nice but when I totally stopped taking the corticosteriods that they advised would reduce asthma issues the asthma symptoms basically disappeared.
Everyone is different but In some situations like exercise induced asthma symptoms occasionally antacid medication is more effective. I now do question the ethics of a charity promoting medication that may make you sicker instead of actually providing complete information - not the candy coated best situation.
I also wonder about how many other people blindly take their "medical" advice and subsequently believe that their deteriorating symptoms are due to the asthma disease where it may be an intolerance to medication.
