About Astute Property Group
Ron Vink is the owner and Director of Astute Property Group. He started his career in the property industry in 1978. His property experience includes valuation, real estate, mortgage and investment consulting and time in the building industry. He is joined in their business by his daughter Amber Moore.
Amber has a genuine passion for property and a gift in administration. Having grown up around building sites and with a love of interior decorating, she has spent many years watching and learning from her father. Now with over a decade of hands-on experience in property management Amber is extremely qualified to confidently handle the day to day running of the residential property management business.
Both Ron and Amber have been tenants and landlords themselves so they understand the needs of both parties well.
Together, Ron and Amber bring you a complete package of expertise in all things property.

- They respond promptly
- The coverage was seamless when Amber went on maternity leave - just as professional and thorough as always
- They found excellent tenants and they found them quickly. Amber always got very good weekly rent for me, and the payment is right on time every month
- I always feel very reassured that they care about my property and are looking after it, which is important for me as I live overseas. The maintenance and inspections were regular and thorough, and it meant the tenants knew that there was a check on them.
- Great advice about the NZ property market. Amberβs Dad even spoke to me at length to consult on selling, and didnβt charge for that service
- When I came to sell, a time when a lesser agent might be less helpful due to losing a client, Amber helped me all the way. She found my my real estate agent, made sure the apartment was clean, and communicated fully with the tenants

We had quite a few delays in setting up our rental initially, I also was juggling the birth of my son over the 2019 Christmas period which was a frantic period for us. I can honestly say we could not have made it come together BEFORE the national lock-down if it wasnβt for Amber guidance and support. Many thanks Amber. She was professional but personable, direct but empathetic and responsive but patient. She gives us no reason to even consider looking elsewhere for property management.
So far, Astute has given us a high quality reliable service that has allowed my wife and myself to mentally set and forget about our rental and spend more time with our kids.
