About Atomic Shortland St
Since Atomic Coffee Roasters opened its doors on Ponsonby Road in 1992, our little family has been growing and evolving ever since. The coffee is pretty darn good around here but it’s really the people behind it all who make us who we are. We wanna show them off, starting with Brooke Chichester, our Field Sales Manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good coffee. Good staff. Clean and tidy inside but it is small. Has some food items in cabinet but no cooked menu. Not a place for groups but one of my favorite spots to grab an afternoon coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that close to my usual routes but I would for sure stop in if I was going by. When I was there last they had one of the most interesting beans I've ever had; it was roasted with cinnamon giving the beans a subtle spice flavor that changed amazingly between drinking black vs a touch of milk. Really one of my favorite coffee experiences.
