★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very friendly and welcoming club that provides top notch BJJ training, I particularly enjoyed the focus on traditional takedown training, I later found out that one of the instructors is also a judo black belt in addition to IBJJF black belt and encourages a open mindset when training BJJ , professors Stu & Serge are great teachers and thoroughly enjoyed my time training when I was in Auckland.

This can be a bit daunting at first but when you get to know the team and the other members, it becomes more like a family. Everyone is friendly and supportive - a great environment to learn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place where they made us feel like family not as a client. They are super supportive and understanding. My son has some difficulties for learning and took him a while to adapt, as parents we could not be happier with the support everyone provide us. When you meet Anjila Morel you will see she is the heart of the place. It is also very affordable. Communication is great, they will answer emails on the same day. Amenities are great, bathrooms and changing rooms are always clean. They sell drinks. There is a Frist Aid Kit in the facilities. They provide one free class to try. Definitely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super beginner friendly with lots and LOTS to learn! These guys at AKLBJJ are highly skilled and great teachers. Everyone’s there to learn and help each other.
Expect to get a great workout! This is a great way to stay active and very addictive. Training BJJ you learn great life skills and build a lot of confidence too.
