★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave is a legend! His guitar lessons are a lot of fun. Dave provides the best lesson summaries with helpful videos to assist when I am practising at home. Would recommend Dave to anyone young or old wanting to learn the guitar!

He is the perfect mix of getting in along side his students in terms of their personalities, tastes and pace of learning and works with them to those things. He pushes them when necessary which is good but encourages them to take responsibility for their learning and practice. Generous, kind, good natured and really skilled Dave is absolute value for money. Can't fault Dave.

Dave is patient and gels well to my son’s choice of music. Plus the weekly feedback I get displays his dedication to teaching. We were lucky to find Dave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an adult learner with zero previous musical experience, I was somewhat apprehensive heading into my first lesson, however any fear was quickly set aside once meeting Dave.
Dave is totally chilled, extremely patient, he quickly adapts his approach to ensure you get it and are able to progress at your own speed, while still feeling like you're getting somewhere.
What started of as a dream of learning to play the guitar has turned into something I look forward to every week. I think it really important to find a good teacher and I feel lucky to have found an awesome one!!

I started lessons about 2 years ago - I left it until I was turning 50 to give it a try - Dave has taken my guitar journey seriously since our first contact and continues to give positive encouragement at every step - I love our lessons, and I can choose to play what I like - don’t leave starting your journey as long as I did - Dave is the BEST! - Mel Hodgson

He has a real gift in that he’s both an incredible musician and a highly skilled, intuitive and attentive teacher. My son respects Dave immensely and really looks forward to his lessons each week. Dave’s care and attention to detail is also impressive - with written lesson summaries each week, plus little videos etc and the annual concerts are awesome. I feel that we are so very fortunate that Dave is my son’s guitar teacher - and I simply couldn’t imagine anyone better.
