★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest I was a little bit apprehensive at first as my impression of covers bands in the past is that they are not often that great - but these guys really rocked.
They got everyone up dancing and played songs everyone wanted to sing along to. And their versions were actually really good, they didn’t just cover the songs, they made them their own.
I ended up deciding that I would hire them for my own wedding, thats how much they turned me around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good band. We needed a band that catered to a large, very diverse group of people. Blue Steel were great to deal with in the lead up to our event and put on a great show on the night. I would recommend them and we will be booking them again for next year’s event.

We needed a band to perform at our corporate event with over 300 guests. They were friendly and professional in all my dealings with them. They were able to talk me through the different options of what they can do and help me make a decision that would best suit the event. On the day the were on time for both set up and the performance.
The performance was outstanding. For our event they played fun energetic pop songs that the crowd could sing along to. They sounded just like the demo's on the website, if not better. Great vocals that did each song justice. They got everyone up on the dance floor, and after the break everyone just jumped right up again and danced til the end (with some calls for an encore!)
I would highly recommend Blue Steel, and will definitely use them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blue Steel are easily one of Auckland's top bands - and as a wedding photographer, I've seen most of them!
They are always tight, polished, and completely professional. Great mix of modern songs, plus the classics.
More importantly, they never fail to have the guests up dancing all night - which is why you're booking a band in the first place, right?!
Completely recommend Blue Steel for anyone planning their wedding or corporate event.
