★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just discovered this superb native forest reserve. Excellent raised walkway thru towering ancient kahikitea and totara trees. Undergoing extensive rejuvenation and restoration. Well worth the 20 - 30 minute circular walk . Recommended. Free to walk - so why not!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite place to go for a quite walk through the forest.
Lots of great seating too for us older folk.
I spend many an hour there sitting on onw of the many seats, listening to the birds in the trees and watching the little rabbits running around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained park. A wooden boardwalk loop takes you around two walks. Great for people of all ages (several bench seats allow for comfortable stops). Especially good for parents with prams and elderly with walkers.
Another track if you don't mind getting abit dirty, takes you through a beautiful wooded area with Wood Pigeons overhead and Fantails darting all about you.
Yet another walk or bike ride takes you to Manfield Park for a great bit of exercise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little walk out of Feilding for a nice afternoon stroll. There is a shorter loop and a longer loop which can also be used my bikers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to go for a stroll on a warm humid day... the feeling of the bush is enhanced. The boardwalks are well built and seats have been installed at regular distances, named by their sponsors. Informative plaques name the trees with information on the leaves, habits and sometimes history. A board advertises future development with links for the Facebook page and donations. It will be interesting to see in the future the oxbow lakes mentioned. A walkway connects the park to Rata Street.
