β β β β β I went to Norma after many years of searching, working and trying to 'mend' myself. I had been in 'therapy',Β on medication, altered my diet and other things. I was exhausted and fragile and at risk of serious harm to myself and my relationships.
Through a beautiful combination of methods - talking, sharing writings, art therapy and doing The Work of Byron Katie - Norma helped me remember that I have value, I am not 'broken', I can love life with all its joy and sorrow and I can cope with everything. Isn't that remarkable for someone who was desperate and afraid?
There is a paradox here; what Norma has helped me come to was there in me all along, (as it is in us all) but strive as I did, I couldn't reach it. And that is Norma's skill, for which I will be grateful always. Thank you Norma.
