★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whilst it'll always be hard for any of us going through loss to talk and know how to make sense of the world, Aroha Funerals coordinated Sarah for us after we lost our beautiful little boy to get some amazing castings mounted to granite blocks and inside wall frames whilst we still were able to hold him. We now have his little hands that we can hold just like he used to hold ours as well as one large cast of all three of our hands in incredible detail. And now two months later, we've come back to Sarah's workshop to find our boy's name on a plaster butterfly hanging from the ceiling along with all of the other babies for all of the families she's helped through this grieving and memorial journey.
We really hope that Sarah can get funding from the government someday to continue offering this charity service to more families across NZ. Jacinda Ardern has even come by to see her memorial work, but now need Baby Loss NZ to get that charity financial support so that no family has to go through the toughest time of their life without a way to be able to physically hold onto their child for the rest of their lives.
