β β β β β Quirky cafe in the "chucked together" style that is not unusual in Waihi. Comfortable seating and plenty of places to sit. The food was good, more like a proper cafe than a bakery although the presentation is somewhat bakery-like, and the serving sizes for food and coffee are good. Prices are reasonable and it appears to be very popular. The location, near the top of town, is good. Parking can be hard to find.

β β β β β Have been to this establishment before on a few occasions. Food was good and fresh ingredients used .
Today however was a bit of a disappointment as I ordered amongst other things a Bacon and Egg burger with chips .
To my surprise I found that there was no beef patty on the burger ?? Which is a pretty standard ingredient in any burger ?
I asked why there is no patty on my burger and the reply was β the burger does not have one β

β β β β β The worst brekkie ever. Sausages Cold, Eggs poached cold, bacon Luke warm, hash browns barely warm. Dog felt it was her lucky day. Never going back. my husband enjoyed his beans and sausages which were served at least 20 minutes before my miners brekkie. His was hot. My husband went up and spoke to staff saying my food was cold and was told they would tell the kitchen staff. Yuk yuk yuk

β β β β β Met a woman outside with a takeout coffee and asked her if it was good - she said it was great - I can only agree - great coffee and friendly barista - little gem in Waihi and the food looked good

β β β β β Wow, what a fab cafe, nice staff and lovely food. Had a lovely breakfast, eggs perfectly poached. Nice hot coffee too. Thanks so much, will be back and I'll highly recommend to my family and friends.

β β β β β Decided to stop here on Monday after the long weekend away and we were very happy with the delicious food and the great service. Friendly staff and the chef did a top job on our brunches. Decently priced too. Would happily come back again.
