Darryl Roach

Trained and worked extensively in the Bay. Darryl having a creative side saw a need to bring together the design and trade areas needed to renovate the most complicated room in a house under one umbrella and so created Bay Bathroom Design Services Limited in 1998. He started as a one man operation offering a very personal service, working from a shared premises. Darryl started with designing the bathrooms the old fashioned way by hand, project managing a small team of subcontractors. Over the last 20 years the company has grown with Darryl employing a team of employees as well as managing the loyal group of subcontractors that are needed.

Vicky Gillespie – Operations manager

Vicky comes to us having 9 years in office management and sales at Guthrie Bowron, with qualifications in interior design and 7 years as showroom manager for Mico Bathrooms.

Vicky’s effervescent personality and approachable manner, quickly puts others at ease allowing a relational approach, she conducts her business with integrity, ensuring a strong customer relationship.

Matt Haywood – Certified Builder

Matt was head hunted by Darryl in 2008 who wanted to bring a younger qualified yet experienced builder onto the team. Matt has had many years experience building residential houses and also holds the local franchise for Vitroglaze. He has added shower installer and water proofing certifications to his belt. Matt is technically orientated and stays current with new products on the market and building code regulations. Matt is perfectionist and prides himself on offering an excellent finish. You will see Matt regularly on site overseeing our projects.

Emma VOYCE – office Manager

Emma joined the Bay Bathroom team in 2019 in a new role to accommodate our established and continually growing bathroom renovation company. Emma is systems and processes orientated and has her hand on many of the office operations. You may also see her popping out to site from time to time for those glamorous before and after photo’s!

Russell Wood – Certified Builder

Russell has clocked up a whopping 47 years in the building industry. He has a fantastic sense of humour, so watch out for his quick wit! He enjoys building bathrooms and particularly likes tiling vanity and bath splash backs, to really finish off a bathroom renovation with style.

nicole owen – job operations

Nicole is our job operations star, running all our jobs from the office alongside Matt. Touch base with her for any questions you have during your build. She is the ultimate problem solver!

Ayla Tito – Accounts & Reception

We welcomed Ayla to our team late 2021 to take over our accounts and reception role. You will see her smiling face at reception and hear her welcoming voice when you call the office.
