Pregnancy and Birth are an exciting, yet challenging life process in any woman’s life.
As an experienced midwife of over 25 interesting years of practice, I have worked alongside many women, their partners and families to ensure the process of pregnancy and birth is kept as safe as possible, with minimal intervention.
I qualified in 1990 in Dunedin as a midwife, and came to beautiful Napier in 1993. I now have 3 adult children, two of them were born at home “way back then!!!”.
I endorse women’s health issues and work alongside organisations that support families.
When not at work, you may find me fishing, gardening, tramping, biking, or off in the motor home with my husband.
I support homebirth, and also provide care in Ata Rangi and Waioha (Hawkes Bay Maternity Primary and Secondary units). I do offer a holistic midwifery approach throughout pregnancy, birth and post natally.
Nothing is more joyous to me, than to see a Mum hold her baby for the first time, and watch a family grow stronger together.
